Synfaring Aurarevisjonen Den lenge etterlengta Aura-revisjonen er i sin slutt fase. 11. juni var det synfaring frå Sunndal over Aursjøen til Eikesdal og Eresfjord. Representanter for Olje og Enerigidep, Klima og Miljødep, Finansdep, Fylkesmannen, Fylkesordfører, Ordførararane i Sunndal og Nesset, Sunndal og Nesset Fjellstyrer, Eikesdal Sameige, elveigarlag, Statkraft m.fl var representert på turen. I alt omlag 50 personar. For Fjellstyra var det viktig å fram problema med barrièren over Torbuhalsen. I rapporten “Horisont Snøhetta” vert Torbuhalsen kalla eit knutpunkt mellom Snøhetta aust og vest, og kanskje den trekkruta mellom aust og vest som det er råd å reetablere. Ellers så vart det tatt opp problema med båtopptrekk på Aursjøen og Reinsvatnet, og problema med auren sin oppgang i gytebekkane. Fokus på synfaringa dreide seg mykje om minstevassføring i Aura. Mange gode argument kom fram, og både ordførar i Nesset, Fylkesordførar og rep. for fylkesmannen hadde svært gode innlegg. Revisjon skulle vere gjennomført i 2004, 50 år etter utbygginga.
